Trees and Forests Gallery

Photograph of a hemlock tree For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to wild places. Even as a boy I would often set out for a half day or more into the forest surrounding my home town in northern British Columbia, sometimes hunting or fishing, but more often just wandering among the giant trees, peering into beaver dams, and learning about the abundant plants and animals.

As an adult I continue to enjoy wild places, and to draw a sort of spiritual nourishment from them. In these photographs I hope to share with you some of the awe that these places inspire in me.
