This photograph shows many delightful features of Antelope Canyon. Notice how the mid-toned areas better show the red of reflected sunlight, while the shadowed areas become more purple. If you look carefully you can see lichens growing near the top, and reflected light illuminating the underside of the outcropping on the right. The layering of the sandstone is also clearly visible.
