I have been drawn to small creeks and ponds for most of my life, sometimes peering intently into them to see what lives beneath the surface, or sometimes just sitting near by, letting the sound of the moving water wash through me, clearing my mind.
This photograph was shot in old growth forest in Northern British Columbia. The creek connects two small lakes, perhaps a mile apart. I hiked into this area many times to find this shot.
